Dart is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of 42West, an
entertainment public relations firm that develops and implements strategic
campaigns for films and television, as well as actors, filmmakers and production
companies. Ms. Dart has directed the
publicity campaigns for more than 300 motion pictures including the Coen
brothers’ Academy Award winning “No Country for Old Men,” Martin Scorsese’s
Academy Award winning “The Departed,” Mike Nichols’ “Charlie Wilson’s War” and
Paul Thomas Anderson’s “There Will Be Blood.”
Ms. Dart and her firm also represent numerous individuals including Tom
Hanks, Jessica Lange, Queen Latifah, Conan O’Brien, Clive Owen, Meryl Streep,
Charlize Theron, Uma Thurman and Kate Winslet, as well as filmmakers Woody
Allen, Wes Anderson, Jonathan Demme, Stephen Daldry and Sydney Pollack, among
others.
Ms. Dart attended the University of Southern California and received a degree in public relations from the School of Journalism, with a minor in fine arts. She resides in New York with her husband, Michael Leon, and their son, Matthew.
